Constellation and Powerhouse Dynamics Offer Commercial Customers Enterprise-Level Automated Energy Management with No Upfront Costs

SiteSage energy and asset management platform bundled with electricity supply through Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy program

BALTIMORE & NEWTON, Mass.--Constellation and technology company Powerhouse Dynamics have launched a program that will enable multi-site businesses, such as retailers and restaurants, to implement enterprise-level, automated energy management capabilities without incurring a large, upfront capital expense or compromising business operations.

Through Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy (EME) program, commercial customers in competitive energy markets can include the cost of Powerhouse Dynamics’ SiteSage® energy and asset management platform as part of their monthly energy bills under a Constellation energy supply agreement. SiteSage enables control, monitoring, and real-time analytics of individual pieces of equipment, enabling centralized management of a dispersed portfolio of locations from a mobile device or browser.

“We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Constellation and to bring SiteSage to their commercial customers,” said Powerhouse Dynamics CEO, Martin Flusberg. “Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy program makes SiteSage a clear choice for portfolios of small commercial facilities, especially restaurants, convenience stores, retail stores, banks, and urgent care facilities.”

Powerhouse Dynamics is a Constellation Technology Ventures (CTV) portfolio company. The venture capital arm of Exelon Corporation, CTV actively invests in growth-stage companies across the energy technology space with an eye toward providing new solutions for customers.

“Constellation is always looking for new and innovative energy solutions for our customers,” Divesh Gupta, manager, energy solutions for Constellation. “Efficiency Made Easy allows customers to implement technology such as Powerhouse Dynamics’ SiteSage to better manage their energy use and support their environmental goals – without an upfront investment.”

SiteSage’s secure, scalable, cloud-based architecture allows users to control HVAC and other electrical loads centrally while it remotely monitors equipment and uses patented analytics to diagnose performance issues and identify energy and water savings opportunities across a portfolio of properties. In addition, a broader set of software modules, such as SiteSage Assets and Smart Kitchen, provides users with extended capabilities to manage equipment assets as well as product safety and quality. Ideal SiteSage users have 20 or more locations with facility sizes of up to 20,000 square feet.
