CenterPoint TDU Reports Increase In Smart Meter Opt-Outs

CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (CEHE) reported to the Public Utility Commission of Texas that as of January 6, 2016, there were 92 ESIDs that have opted to have non-standard meter service (the opt-out from AMI)

For comparison, as of July 6, 2015, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric had reported that it had 75 ESIDs that have opted to have non-standard meter service.

CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric reported that no change to the opt-out fees is required at this time.
