A new feature has gone live on the Texas Power to Choose site which allows customers to filter products by whether they include a minimum usage fee or credits in the average price per kWh

The site explains the filter thusly:

"This filter allows you to view plans that do not have any recurring fees or credits included in the average per kWh price.

"If you choose to view plans with fees/credits included in the average per kWh price, you need to be aware that the average per kWh price may vary significantly from your actual billed price per kWh.

"Please review the fact sheets for these plans carefully before enrolling in a product."

In the Oncor service area, when including fixed rate products only, the filter results in the customer being presented 88 products, versus 335 without the filter
