Pivotal Home Solutions, a subsidiary of AGL Resources, has purchased Eversource Energy’s Connecticut and Massachusetts heating protection plan business.

Pivotal Home Solutions will manage the appliance repair and maintenance contracts for customers enrolled in the programs formerly known as the “Advantage Protection Service Plan” in Connecticut and the “Home Heating Protection Plan” in Massachusetts.

Pivotal Home Solutions offers customized home service plans with an energy efficiency focus to approximately 1.2 million customers in 17 states

Eversource customers who participate in a current service protection plan will be notified of the change through a bill insert sent with their monthly billing statement. Those customers will also receive a separate letter with information about Pivotal Home Solutions.
