The City of Yorkville, Illinois has rejected recent bids for its municipal electric aggregation as too high, the Beacon-News reports

The Beacon-News reports that bids came in at over 50% the current aggregation rate, and notes, "the bids Yorkville received might be a predictor of things to come for the entire area — higher rates that do not even under-bid ComEd."
