Lancaster Choice Energy, the City of Lancaster, California's community choice aggregation, has awarded sPower a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to provide 10MWac of solar power.

The power will be generated at the sPower Western Antelope Dry Ranch facility, to be located at 105th Street West and Avenue J in Lancaster, CA, located in northern LA County. Construction is expected to begin in mid-2016, with a commercial operations date (COD) by the end of 2016.
