Black Hills Corporation confirmed to RetailEnergyX.com that its previously reported agreement to acquire SourceGas Holdings, LLC, which includes various natural gas distribution utilities, also includes SourceGas Energy Services Co. (SGES), SourceGas Holdings' competitive retail supplier offering service at the Wyoming and Nebraska choice programs.

Asked about whether it would retain SourceGas Energy Services, which was not highlighted in any investor materials regarding the acquisition, or hold the company for sale, Black Hills said that it is, "just starting its integration planning for all of SourceGas and plans on integrating and operating the existing companies."

As previously reported, the choice programs themselves at the Wyoming and Nebraska SourceGas utilities are to be evaluated in light of the acquisition.
