ERCOT Files To Increase System Administration Fee 20% (Cost for REPs)

ERCOT has formally filed at the Public Utility Commission of Texas to increase the system administration fee by 20%

The new fee of $0.5550 per megawatt-hour would be charged starting in 2016, to be in place for the 2016-17 period. It is ERCOT management's intention that the proposed $0.5550 per MWh fee will remain in effect not only for the 2016/2017 biennium, but through the following biennium as well.

The current system admin fee is $0.4650 per megawatt-hour
