Settlement Filed Regarding CenterPoint TDU DCRF (New Charge for REPs)
June 15,2015
CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC informed a Texas ALJ that a "settlement in principle" has been reached between the "active intervenors" in the proceeding addressing the TDU's application for a Distribution Cost Recovery Factor, which would be a new rider charged to retail electric providers for certain distribution costs not reflected in base rates.
The TDU informed the ALJ that, "[t]hese parties are working to finalize the Settlement Agreement and supporting documentation as well as a Proposed Order for consideration."
"The parties are also working to determine whether there is any opposition to the settlement," the TDU said
In light of the tight deadlines applicable to the case, the parties requested that the hearing scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2015, be convened in order to allow the Settlement Agreement and supporting evidence to be admitted into the record. Upon entry of this evidence into the record, the parties will request that this matter be remanded to the Commission by June 16th in order to afford the Commission the opportunity to enter a Final Order at its July 2, 2015 Open Meeting.
