Green Mountain Energy is the new supplier for the City of Arlington's (Texas) affinity power program, which had been previously supplied by various NRG companies or their predecessors.

Specifically, Arlington and Green Mountain Energy have launched POWER – Proactive Opportunities for Water and Energy Reduction.

The new program offers residents 100% wind power along with a Water Eco-Kit with tools that help them save water, such as a high-efficiency showerhead.

Each new customer who enrolls in the program using a promotional code will help benefit city services.

As part of the agreement, Green Mountain Energy is the new title sponsor for the summer and fall free concert series at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts.

POWER replaces the current PowerUP affinity program which had been most recently supplied by NRG's Everything Energy brand
