Ohio Revokes Retail Supplier, Broker Licenses For Non-Filing, Orders Companies to Cease Business
May 14,2015
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has revoked the licenses of about 20 retail energy suppliers and brokers for failure to file annual reports and pay fiscal assessments.
Each company listed by PUCO must immediately cease providing service in the state of Ohio under the listed certificate, and immediately notify any Ohio customers still being served thereunder that the company is no longer permitted to operate under such authority. Any company that continues to provide service under a cancelled certificate or operating authority may be subject to a forfeiture up to $10,000 per day under R.C. 4905.54.
