Retail Supplier Sells Wholesale Petroleum Business

Red Apple Group announced that it has arranged the acquisition of the wholesale petroleum business of PPL EnergyPlus Retail, LLC.
PPL EnergyPlus Retail is part of PPL EnergyPlus LLC, which is the wholesale and retail energy sales subsidiary of PPL Corp. The petroleum business was a very small part of PPL EnergyPlus.
Terms were not immediately disclosed.
As previously reported, PPL EnergyPlus is set to essentially be spun-off into Talen Energy in the coming weeks.
