FERC States Intent To Revoke MBR Authority Of Several Retail Suppliers

August 26,2020

FERC issued an order stating an intent to revoke the electric market-based rate authority of several power marketers, including several retail suppliers, for alleged failure to file their Electric Quarterly Reports

FERC said that it intended to revoke the MBR authority of the following companies listed below if the EQR reports are not filed within 15 days:

• ResCom Energy LLC

• PowerOne Corporation

• Capital Energy LLC

• HIC Energy, LLC

• Veritas Energy Group, LLC

• Iridium Energy, LLC

In the event that any of the above-listed market-based rate sellers have already filed their Electric Quarterly Reports in compliance with the Commission’s requirements, those sellers’ inclusion herein is inadvertent, FERC said. Such market-based rate sellers are directed, within fifteen days, to make a filing with the Commission identifying themselves and providing details about their prior filings that establish that they complied with the Commission’s Electric Quarterly Report filing requirements.
