Report: Texas PUC Dissolves "Enforcement Division"

Dave Lieber, in The Dallas Morning News, writes that the Texas PUC has "shut down" its 10-person Oversight & Enforcement division

PUC spokesperson Andrew Barlow told the Morning News that oversight and enforcement will continue, with responsibility transferred to the PUC's Legal division. Barlow said the functions previously under O&E, "remain intact and unchanged."

Lieber reported Mick Long, director of oversight and enforcement, is departing the PUC in October. "Investigators and lawyers who worked for him have joined the legal division," Lieber reports
