Retail Supplier Appointed To Assume Customers Of Failed U.K. Retailer

March 23,2020

U.K. regulator Ofgem has appointed Bulb to take on supplying Gnergy Limited’s 9,000 domestic customers and small number of non-domestic customers.

As previously reported, Gnergy ceased trading

Ofgem's action follows a competitive process run by Ofgem to get the best deal possible for customers.

"Bulb is offering customers a competitive tariff. All outstanding credit balances, including money owed to both existing and former domestic customers of Gnergy, will also be honoured," Ofgem said

Bulb will absorb all of the costs of honouring customers’ credit balances and the migration of customers.
