Arcadia, which offers a retail energy shopping service among its suite of offerings, is this month launching its first community solar project in Massachusetts with developer Madison Energy Investments.

Arcadia's project in Methuen, MA is 230 kW DC and is large enough for about 50 subscribers, the majority of whom are low-income ratepayers, the company said

Arcadia and Madison Energy Investments have a pipeline of at least 15 projects in Massachusetts all scheduled to come online in 2020.

Separately, Summit Ridge Energy said that it has selected Arcadia Power to enroll and manage residential subscriptions for its community solar projects in various markets, including Maryland and Illinois
