Texas Municipal Utility Sues Solar PPA Counterparty

The city of Georgetown, Texas is suing Buckthorn Westex LLC, a solar developer contracted by the city, for alleged operational and performance issues, the Austin American-Statesman reports

Georgetown executed a 25-year fixed-price contract with Buckthorn Westex, "with the intent to provide stability for the city’s wholesale power costs."

Buckthorn disputes all claims in the complaint made by the City of Georgetown
