Arizona Commission Issues Questions On Retail Electric Choice For Comment, Sets Deadline

The Staff of the Arizona Corporation Commission has formally issued a list of Commissioner questions concerning retail electric choice for public comment.

Any responses or comments by interested parties and stakeholders to the questions compiled by Staff (linked below) should be filed on or before November 29, 2019, Staff said

Arizona Commissioner Offers Suggestions For Nine Workshops

Staff noted that, "On September 23, 2019, Chairman Burns docketed a letter requesting responses to his questions by October 18, 2019. On September 27, 2019, Commissioner Marquez Peterson filed workshop topics and questions. On September 30, 2019, Commissioner Dunn filed a letter requesting responses to docketed items by October 31, 2019, and any replies by November 30, 2019. On October 1, 2019, Commissioner Kennedy filed a letter with a timeline of events relating to the Retail Electric Competition Rules docket and requesting clarity on how to proceed. On October 2, 2019, Commissioner Olson docketed his questions/topics for consideration."

"Staff reviewed all Commissioner filings and has enclosed its compilation of the questions and topics posed, excluding Chairman Burns' questions. General topics have been provided within which questions are organized," Staff said
