Quinbrook Hires Competitive Energy Market, Trading Veterans

Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners today announced three new appointments to its Houston based investment team.
Hank Jones has been appointed to the role of Managing Director. Jones is an energy industry veteran with over 33 years of experience in building and managing wholesale energy trading, power marketing, asset optimization and logistics businesses for public and private companies in both North America and Europe. Jones joins Quinbrook from Dynegy Inc., where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer responsible for the commercial optimization of 26 GW of power generation assets diversified across multiple US states. Prior to Dynegy, Jones was Head of North American Power & Gas Sales, Trading and Origination at Deutsche Bank, and was formerly the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Trading for EDF Trading North America.
William Blake joins Quinbrook as Vice President in the Houston office with over 5 years of experience in renewable and conventional energy investment, project development and M&A. Prior to Quinbrook, Blake was an Associate at Denham Capital in London where he was responsible for financial modelling, execution and monitoring of Denham Capital’s international power investments. Blake was formerly an Analyst in the Global Energy & Power Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.
Dennis Mou joins Quinbrook as Associate from EDP Renewables in Houston where he has spent the past two years undertaking the financial analysis and evaluation of EDP’s US wind and solar projects. Mou specializes in financial modelling, risk/return sensitivity assessment and critical evaluation of a variety of complex tax equity structures, partnership arrangements and commercial due diligence.
