Green, a start-up U.K. retail energy supplier, has launched operations with a focus on an app-based service

"We offer intelligent tariffs, ground-breaking apps & low cost green energy," the company says

Green describes itself as a, "tech focused energy supplier, incorporating artificial intelligence and state of the art technologies to offer a simple, modern and clear approach to all your energy needs."

Concerning the app, Green says, "An exclusive feature for our members is that they can review their spend by viewing a simple and fast dashboard which will automatically suggest ways to save, be more green and to offer a more inexpensive tariff. We also offer Apple Pay and Google Pay in app so our members can easily top-up their account, in a matter of seconds, automatically."

App features include the ability to view, "insightful reports on your usage, get suggestions to save and predict your next bill."

"In our app we will analyse your usage and payment history to provide you with a predication on your bills and an overview on how your usage trends change throughout the months," the company says of the app

As described by the company, "intelligent payment" features include, "Direct debit payments which analyse your usage and suggests a more accurate payment over time and Apple/Google Pay integration for topping up your account with credit."
