New York Town, In LIPA Service Area, Selects Administrator For New Municipal Aggregation

The Southampton, New York Town Board has authorized a contract with Joule Assets to serve as the administrator for a forthcoming municipal aggregation program, the East Hampton Star reports (story here)

Southampton's CCA is notable given that the town is in the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) service area.

It is believed that no community taking electric service in the LIPA service area has an active CCA, to date
