Report: E.ON Set To Win EU Antitrust Permission For Innogy Deal (Including Retail Assets)

Citing sources, Reuters reports that, "E.ON is expected to win EU antitrust approval to buy rival Innogy’s network and retail assets."

Despite several previously reported additional concessions and divestitures, Reuters notes that the transaction continues to draw opposition from competitors who say that the combined firm will have too much market power
