Shell Enters Retail Electric Market In Japan

Shell has begun selling electricity to non-residential customers in Japan, Nikkei Asian Review reports

Nikkei Asian Review reports that Shell is also considering residential electric sales in Japan in the future.

Nikkei Asian Review further reports that, "Shell is also entering the Japanese market for virtual power plants, which will launch in fiscal 2021 and link various power-generating units and storage batteries to ensure a stable supply of electricity."
