NV Energy Withdraws, Plans To Re-File Program Offering Special Lower Rates For Large Customers

NV Energy has withdrawn from the Nevada PUC a proposal (Optional Pricing Program Rate) to offer discounted rates to large customers, but plans to re-file such a proposal, The Nevada Independent reports

The plan had been targeted at customers large enough to file exit applications to take competitive supply, and had been criticized by PUC Staff and ratepayer advocates as shifting costs to non-participating customers
