The Board of Directors of InterGen announced today that Jim Lightfoot will become president and chief executive officer effective June 26, 2019.

InterGen operates retail supplier OzGen Retail in Australia, and also offers wholesale electricity supply products to large customers in the U.K. and various international markets, in addition to operating and developing power generation projects

Timothy J. Menzie will be stepping down as president and chief executive officer effective June 25, 2019.

Lightfoot has 30 years’ experience in the energy industry, in generation, trading, distribution and retail. He has spent the majority of his career working for E.ON most recently as Managing Director of their UK cities business, in the Business to Municipality division. Prior to this, Lightfoot was Chief Operating Officer of E.ON’s Renewable and Fossil Generation fleet across Europe, Russia and the U.S.
