Nevada University System To Remain Supply Customer Of NV Energy, Eschews Competitive Supply

The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents has decide to not pursue competitive electric supply, and instead sought to open negotiations with NV Energy to remain a supply customer of the utility under the utility's Optional Pricing Program Rate, The Nevada Independent reports (see story here)

The Board had previously been discussing a potential exit from NV Energy to take competitive supply

In 2018, NSHE collectively used and purchased approximately 201,840,891 kilowatts (kWh) of electricity.
