Worthen Industries and its energy consultant, Freedom Energy Logistics, announced that Worthen has entered into a virtual net metering contract with four small hydropower plants, located throughout the state of New Hampshire.

Freedom Energy noted that the contract was made possible by last year's SB321, which allows customers of third-party suppliers to engage in virtual net metering. Previously, only utility standard offer customers were eligible

Nashua-based Worthen Industries specializes in making adhesives, coatings and coated products.
