Australia Energy Minister Announces Wholesale "Price Target"

Australia Energy Minister Angus Taylor announced a new "price target" targeting a 25% reduction in the average NEM (National Electricity Market) wholesale spot price, to less than AUS$70/MWh, The Australian reports (see the story here)

As previously reported, the Australian federal government recently established a retail price cap for default offers (to non-shopping customers)
