Texas REP Files Amendment To Reflect Recent Upstream Ownership Change
April 16,2019
Frontier Utilities, LLC filed at the Texas PUC for a REP certificate amendment to reflect an upstream ownership change
Although much of the application was redacted, Frontier listed its affiliate as now including various NextEra companies
The proposed acquisition of Frontier Utilities, LLC by NextEra had been previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (see story here)
In its application, Frontier stated, "On April 1, 2019, Frontier experienced a material change to the information provided in its current
REP certificate due to a change in Frontier's upstream ownership. The impact of the upstream change
in ownership is transparent to customers and does not impact existing customer rates, customer
agreements, customer terms-of-service, or customer service contact information."
