After Merging French Retail Suppliers, Total Sets Sight on Aggressive Growth, Other European Markets

Reuters reports that Total, having merged its Direct Energie and Total Spring retail energy suppliers in France to become the nation's largest alternative supplier, has set its sight on taking on incumbents EDF and Engie

Total's combined retail suppliers in France have about 4 million customers, with Reuters reporting that the company wants to double that total by 2022 (which would equal 15 percent of that market).

Reuters reports that Total is seeking to expand in other European retail energy markets
