Another Texas City Hears Opt-In Aggregation Pitch, Councilors Air Concerns

March 22,2019

The City Council of Mesquite, Texas heard a proposal from iChoosr to implement an opt-in electricity aggregation, The Mesquite News reports

The Mesquite News quotes JP Harper, a representative of iChoosr, as stating, "A lot of the residents that participate in the program, we hear that one of the main reasons that they participated is because they feel confident that the Texas Power Switch program has been vetted by their city and by their city council."

The Mesquite News reports that Councilman Greg Noschese expressed concerns about the municipality endorsing a for-profit business

City councilors will review the information from iChoosr before making a decision
