Column: Va. Denial Of Wal-Mart Retail Supply Application A Missed Opportunity To Embrace Renewables

The Washington Post published a column by Joe Rinzel, executive director of Employers for Renewable Energy, in which Rinzel says that the Virginia SCC's denial of Wal-Mart's application to take competitive retail electric supply is missed opportunity to support renewables

As previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, the SCC denied the application of Wal-Mart to take competitive supply, citing the cost impact on other customers who do not have the ability to take competitive supply (see a full discussion in EnergyChoiceMatters.com's story here
