Texas REP Again Offering $0/kWh Power

Acacia Energy is again offering a promotion where the customer's first 14 days of energy supply under its prepaid Power Bonus are charged at $0.0/kWh, with $100 in free credits

TDU fees will still apply, as will the Daily Base Charge of $0.50 per day and the Daily Minimum Usage Fee, if the customer uses less than 16 kWh, of $0.50 per day

Customers will receive a $20 credit at enrollment, plus an additional $40 energy credit on day 90 and $40 on day 180 of active service.

The Acacia Power Bonus Plan also includes $10 in free energy for each individual $150 payment made, or $5 in free energy for each individual $75 payment made.

The average rate (at 1,000 kWh usage per month) for the Power Bonus plan is 10.4¢/kWh at CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric and 9.5¢/kWh at Oncor. The product is a variable rate plan.
