The San Francisco Chronicle reports on various options for the future structure of Pacific Gas & Electric, such as a wires-only company or municipalization of the utility

EnergyChoiceMatters.com had previously reported that retail suppliers have proposed removing PG&E from the supply procurement function, which CCAs have proposed that CCAs be given the ability, "to be the only provider of retail electric service to all customers," in the PG&E service area
