Report: Victoria (AUS) Default Electric Offer Will Hurt Small Retail Suppliers Most

The Australian Financial Review reported that consumer advocates and retailers say that a default energy offer proposed by the Victorian government (which is pursuing its own default supply rules apart from the national government) would hurt small retail suppliers the most, "by forcing them to sell below cost"

The proposal will also, "play into the hands of large generator retailers," the Australian Financial Review reports retailers and consumer groups as saying
