Colorado Senate President To Introduce Energy Choice Legislation
Colorado Senate President Leroy Garcia (D-Pueblo) said that he plans to introduce legislation to introduce a form of electricity choice to the state, KOAA News 5 reports
Garcia specifically said that the legislation would allow for "community energy choice."
In describing the legislation, KOAA reported, "Garcia says the legislation would focus on creating a competitive market, and giving choice to consumers on who they do business with for utilities."
The legislation has not been released yet
