Baltimore Gas & Electric Files Updated SOS Rates for Residential and C&I Customers

December 24,2014

Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed official tariff revisions to implement new residential SOS and Type I SOS rates for the period beginning June 1, 2015.

Much of the new rate information (except for TOU rates which required load-shaping data which recently became available) was previously posted on BGE's website and covered by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in November

However, this is the first time the new rates have been officially filed in tariff form, confirming the data.

As noted by Matters in November, the BGE Rate R supply rate (excluding Rider 8) is to increase to 9.453¢/kWh, from the comparable 8.975¢/kWh, for summer 2014.

See BGE's tariff filing for the full SOS rate details
