Westchester Power Municipal Aggregation Issues RFP For New Power Supply Contract For NYSEG Area

New York municipal aggregation Westchester Power (Sustainable Westchester,) has issued a Request for Proposals for electricity supply for customers in the portion of its service area within NYSEG's territory, for service starting with meter read dates in May 2019

The RFP was sent to ESCOs already vetted through a previously reported request for interest process

A copy of the RFP was filed with the PSC, and is available here

Among other conditions, the price under the RFP must be less than the following:

a. Residential accounts: 7.38 cents/kWh

b. Small commercial accounts: 7.46 cents/kWh
