Caroline Choi has been named senior vice president of Corporate Affairs for Edison International as well as its subsidiary Southern California Edison

Edison International also owns energy broker and energy services provider Edison Energy

Choi will oversee Government Affairs, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications on national, state and local levels. In her roles with Government and Public Affairs, she succeeds Gaddi Vasquez, who is retiring after a 16-year career with SCE and Edison International.

Choi joined SCE in 2012 and most recently served as its senior vice president of Regulatory Affairs, responsible for the company’s regulatory strategy and policy at the national and state levels, including regulatory affairs, regulatory operations and environmental affairs. She was previously executive director of Environmental Services & Strategy at Progress Energy.
