Approved Oil Co. and the Approved Companies, which include ESCO Approved Energy, announced that Robert Ross has been named General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. He will also serve as a member of the company's Executive Committee

Ross joined the company at the start of the year and will report directly to Vincent Theurer, the company's President and CEO. Ross will be responsible for managing all legal, regulatory and compliance matters for the Approved Companies.

Most recently, Ross served as General Counsel at W16 Energy. Ross also previously held positions at Morgan Stanley and with KMZ Rosenman

Approved Oil Company is the corner stone of the "Approved Companies" conglomerate of energy related companies including Approved Wholesale, Approved Energy, and Approved Plumbing & Fire Protection.
