Ecova, which is a subsidiary of Cofely, a brand of GDF SUEZ Energy Services, announced that Jana Schmidt has been named the company's new president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Jeff Heggedahl, Ecova's president and CEO for the past five years, recently announced his resignation from the company.

Schmidt has been with Ecova for three years, serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager

Schmidt joined Ecova from Harland Clarke Corp., where she served as the executive vice president of sales and marketing.
