Final Texas Electric Scope Of Competition Report Filed

January 15,2019

A final version of the Texas PUC Scope of Electric Competition report has been filed

Language for the final report was previously agreed to by PUC Commissioners in December

As first exclusively reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (see story here), in the final report the Commission, "recommends that the Legislature require retail electric brokers to register with the Commission in a manner similar to retail electric aggregators to ensure that customers who use a retail electric broker have adequate consumer protections."
