Connecticut Governor-Elect Ned Lamont announced that he has nominated Katie Dykes as Commissioner of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
Dykes most recently served as Chair of the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA).
Dykes previously served as the Deputy Commissioner for Energy at the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Previously, Dykes also served as Deputy General Counsel for the White House Council on Environmental Quality and as a Legal Advisor to the General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Energy.
Dykes will begin serving as the Commissioner-designate in January. Her nomination will be sent to the General Assembly for its advice and consent.
